Conference "Energy Future 2030"
Increasing prices for fuels, concerns about the security of energy supply, extreme weather phenomena, geopolitical crises as well as demographic changes will result in significant changes in our energy systems in the coming 20 years.
It is crucial to pro-actively tackle these challenges to ensure the sustainability of our economies, our climate and our environment.
These changes also offer enormous opportunities for new technologies, increased competitiveness and quality of life. Therefore, politicians, researchers and businesses must develop visions, but also concrete solutions for these long-term questions today.
